Miss Madge Mulkey
Dear Madam:
This will acknowledge receipt of your favor of January 9, 1957, relative to the matter of President Eisenhower’s visit to San Angelo and this area.
Any influence your interest could have caused in such decisions that would bring the President into the area affected by this devastating drouth is greatly appreciated by the people of San Angelo.
I know that you are aware that arrangements for his visit to San Angelo were entirely developed and completed by Mr. D. W. Williams, Acting President, Texas A & M College, through the Extension Department.
Yours very truly,
H. E. McCulloch
Mayor
