Maurine
Just made these copies this morning, and thought I’d get them to you, instead of waiting until I complete the other work you asked for.
I have done a lot on both the situation as I found it when I moved to the area, and also am whipping up the autobiography. At first I was scared to death to begin, but one day I forced myself to start, and now I’m enjoying it thoroughly. You will have to cut so much, I am sure, but I thought I’d just let go, for it is possible that some of the things that don’t see, of great importance could be a help to you in the whole broad question I think you are trying to answer.
As I write, the cobwebs of 22 years begin to fall away, and I am clearing up so many things that I haven’t let myself go into all this time……
Let me know if this is the sort of thing you wanted. I know you have some good material from the outside, and I have an idea this will round it out, except for the other I’m working on.
My best,
[Added by hand in black ink. “Caro”]
