Dear John:
It won’t be long now before my job will be finished. We will be through Dec. 20th. Will be home for Xmas. Am very sorry as I have enjoyed my work immensely.
Went to the Gay Nineties And Club Nixon at Pittsburgh night before last. Wish you could have been with us.
Wish you could see my new Parka. It is blue with a brown fur hood and lining. Very warm when I get to Montreal again. Hope to buy apair of brown boots.
Am so glad the Red Cross is giving you enough cigarettes and food. They [tear in paper]re doing wonderful work everywhere.
Am staying at the Dupont and it is noisy some sort of a convention going on.
Have seen several good shows recently.
John, keep your chin up and just hope it won’t be too long before you return to the states.
As ever
Marge
