Rema Lou Brown
Coordinator/Counselor
Women's Resource Services
Dear Rema Lou:
Once again, thank you for finding the time to speak to my Minorities in America class. Your humor and effective presence were only surpased [sic] by the importance of what you said. I do not say this simply to flatter, but to give you a complement [sic] in the best sense of the word. You "fight the good fight" splendidly. In addition, your presence as a women obviously communicates much more than I as a male am able to do. It is no source of continual embarrassment for me to mediate the tension between defining the status of America's minorities and doing so as one of the privileged dominants. But we all must fight the good fight wherever we can.
I am also appreciative of your willingness to “reappear” should the occasion present itself.
Thanks again.
