Dear Mr. Hall:
I cannot agree with your reasoning. I saw no reason to protect the Communists from the truth.
I am enclosing a copy of the speech exactly as I delivered it. The line upon which the Soviet Ambassador walked out merely stated that an attack upon Europe would a hazardous enterprise. It is really hard for me to consider this "insulting to sensitive people for no reason."
