I’ll probably spend most of my letters talking about my boat rather than flying. We have the nicest boat house on the lake- white with red trim. The inside isn’t so hot yet but we’re going to fix it up too so we can stay all night sometimes.
We meet other boating people often and tonight are invited to dinner at a Dr.’s house, whom we met while out fishing.
We will be getting eleven more WAFS soon, so we’ll number 22. Our new ones are doing all right but seem to lack that do-or-die enthusiasm we have, probably because of getting it all handed to them.
A late news bulletin is that we will have a whole barracks assigned to us (one in the new building program now going on) which means that we’ll be commissioned soon, and also that we can’t move into our new house.
