Nearly two years ago, one of our board members, Jere Hinckley, corresponded with you about an initial-year-only joint membership you would share with TGLFT. At that time he indicated to the TGLFT Board that you had agreed to a $15 fee for that initial year; we started advertising it on our own membership forms, and have accumulated six persons who wish to take advantage of the offer.

However, when I came to send them in very belatedly, I realized that your membership price has gone up in the interim, and also that I am only relying on my memory for this, since Jere never passed on any correspondence.

Therefore I am sending in the $15 x 6 or $90 for the people on the list attached, plus an additional $30 for rnewal [sic] of TGLTF’s own membership. If this sum is not acceptable, please notify me and we will make up the difference. Also please let us know if this is an acceptable basis for the future; we hope to initiate an active membership campaign and would hope to handle things much more rapidly in the future, and to attract a number of joint members.
